Sonal Tivarekar was appointed Chief Operating Officer of NAB India in January 2025. She brings more than 20 years of experience across global capability centers and enterprise leadership roles spanning APAC and Europe.
As Chief Operating Officer, Sonal is responsible for strategy execution, governance, operating model evolution, infrastructure and workforce enablement for NAB India, supporting the dynamic scale and maturity of the organisation.
With over two decades of experience in multiple C-suite roles such as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Chief Strategy Officer with BFSI global capability centers — she has built teams, operating models, and leadership capability through periods of rapid growth, unforeseen upheaval and change.
Sonal brings expertise in organisational transformation, strategic consulting, leadership development, operating model design and people strategy. Because of this she brings a practical lens to GCCs — moving beyond headcount and cost to focus on decision velocity, capability depth, and innovation that actually lands.
She believes people and technology are deeply interwoven, and that real advantage comes from building both together. Known for her people-first, outcomes-driven style, she has a track record of scaling and navigating organizations sustainably through rapid growth.
