Sailaja Josyula has close to 29 years of work experience with close to two decades in Financial Services industry.
She currently heads the Global Capability Centres Service Line at Cognizant, responsible for definingand executing Cognizant’s GCC strategy. Sailaja returns to Cognizant after a brief stint with EY, having served in several roles in Cognizant from 2018-2024, including as Centre Head of Hyderabad and Global Head of BFSI Operations Delivery managing a team of 17k+ associates —where she strengthened operations and contributed to the expansion of the Financial Services IOA business. Hyderabad center grew at a rapid pace under her leadership. She brings close to 29 years of professional experience, with financial services background and a track record of execution and effective program management. She is known for her passion for excellence. Sailaja is an avid D&I advocate, a fellow of International Women’s Leadership Program and has undertaken executive management courses at Harvard and INSEAD.
Prior to joining Cognizant in 2018 she has worked with Thomas Reuters (GCC) and prior to that she spent 16 years at HSBC (GCC) leading transformation, offshore banking delivery, customer experience and global payment operations. She is a chemical engineer and trained Six Sigma Black Belt and has a track record of driving transformation and innovation throughout her career.
