Kamna Sama is a senior technology and AI leader with over two decades of impact across the manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors. Recognized for her ability to convert business strategy into scalable technology outcomes, she applies a systems-thinking approach that strengthens operational excellence, accelerates growth, and drives responsible innovation. As CTIO at Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions, the India technology arm of the Volkswagen Group, she designed and executed the organization’s first enterprise AI Strategy, anchored on five pillars including People, Governance, and Product & Innovation Strategy. She developed AI Innovation‑to‑Growth pathways and built a strong partner ecosystem that delivered GenAI and Agentic AI platforms for Group IT and Volkswagen’s global brands. Her leadership earned recognition among India Analytics Magazine’s “Top 100 Innovative AI Leaders,” and VW Digital Solutions received the “Making AI Work” Enterprise AI Award for scalable AI in cybersecurity.Previously, at Cummins, Kamna led large‑scale digital transformation initiatives, M&A integrations, smart factory programs, plant digitalization, and global IT modernization as Business Technology Leader for the Engine and Components businesses. She lives in Pune with her husband and two daughters and enjoys heritage travel, music, and dance.
