Ashish heads MetLife Global Capability Center (MGCC). He is responsible for working with regional heads of operations and functional leaders to develop a shared services center strategy and operating model. He is in charge for building the shared services centers based on the overall strategy. His responsibilities also include adhering to the statutory and regulatory compliances to ensure the benefits of the offshoring business to India are realized.
MGCC supports regional operations and lines of businesses across geographies and Global Corporate Functions. The MGCC network is spread over four centers ― Noida, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Pune ― and includes a wide array of capabilities, ranging from low-complexity data entry processes, high-complexity knowledge services to project-based consulting services and strategic vendor management.
Ashish is a committed and agile leader with over 30 years of experience in building strong, diverse teams and driving organizational success rooted in customer centricity. As a member of the IT/ITES industry body (NASSCOM) and the IMA CEO Forum, he continues to leverage industry insights and remains future focused. He invigorates teams through the power of innovation and collaboration while also driving a digital mindset among colleagues and teams.
Ashish has led PNB MetLife India and was an Executive Member on the Board of PNB MetLife. Prior to this role, Ashish worked with Coca Cola, TATA Group, HSBC, The Times of India Group, and IBL Group (Mauritius) across sectors and geographies. He has also served as Director on the Board of an HSBC subsidiary in India.
