As Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director of Lowe’s India, Ankur Mittal is responsible for driving the overall strategy and operations for Lowe’s India and technology for Lowe’s. As a global technology leader, Ankur’s remit includes omni channel platforms, enterprise architecture strategy across a portfolio of applications and capabilities, corporate services technology, IT Ops and infrastructure engineering. Ankur joined Lowe’s in 2019 and as Managing Director of Lowe’s India, he provides leadership oversight for AI and data analytics, tech solutions that enhance customer and associate experiences, and other business functions in India such as merchandising, marketing, supply chain, finance, legal and HR teams.
Ankur has more than 20 years of technology experience. Before joining Lowe’s, he was vice president, technology for Target Corp., serving as site leader for the technology team in India and leading engineering teams on key customer services, including dot-com fulfillment, inventory management, guest returns and checkout experiences. Ankur also held a variety of technology leadership roles for Infosys and Wipro.
Ankur earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University Engineering College in Kota, India, anda master’s degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode, India.
